            Summary: We collect minimal data. Your practice progress stays on your device. Community features require a name. We never sell your data.
        

1. Information We Collect

Stored Locally (on your device only):

Practice progress and completion status
Practice timer settings and technique preferences
Billboard messages you customize
Extension preferences and settings

This data is stored using Chrome's local storage API and never leaves your device unless you use community features.

Stored on our servers (only if you use community features):

Display name (when you join the Ashram Sangha community)
Community posts, reactions, and comments
Support tickets (if you report an issue via the AI assistant)

2. How We Use Your Information

Local data is used solely to save your practice progress and preferences
Community data is used to display the Sangha feed and enable interaction between practitioners
Support tickets are used to improve the extension and resolve issues
AI chat conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to provide assistance and are not stored permanently

3. Data Sharing

            We do NOT sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
        

Your data may be processed by:

Supabase - Database hosting for community features (name, posts)
Anthropic - AI chat processing (conversations are not stored by them beyond the session)
Cloudflare - Notification delivery for support tickets

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures:

All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
Server-side data is stored in secure, managed databases
API endpoints use rate limiting to prevent abuse
No passwords or financial information is collected

5. Your Rights

Access: You can view all your local data through Chrome's developer tools
Deletion: Uninstalling the extension removes all local data. Contact us to remove community data.
Opt-out: Community features are optional. The extension works fully without joining the Sangha.

6. Children's Privacy

This extension is designed for spiritual practitioners of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Community features require only a display name.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected in the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
